Client case · emeis
Workplace osteopathy for the teams at an emeis facility: a lasting partnership.
Client
emeis · health and social care / mental health sector, at a psychiatric clinic facility.
Period
Continuous programme since April 2025 — more than one year at the time of writing.
Individual osteopathy consultations delivered directly on site for half a day each week.
The programme supports healthcare professionals and administrative staff at the facility; patients are not included. Its aim is to prevent and relieve work-related musculoskeletal disorders without requiring employees to travel.

60–80%participation depending on the period
Aggregated results
Participation among eligible employees ranged from 60 to 80%, depending on the period.
The most common reasons for consultation were lower-back pain among administrative staff and shoulder pain among care staff, consistent with the physical demands of each role.
The HSE lead expressed overall satisfaction with the quality of the programme and its effect on employees’ daily working lives.
Employees receiving support reported a perceived improvement in the working environment, alongside very positive informal feedback.
The wellbeing measures in place, including workplace osteopathy, contributed to recruitment decisions completed in 2026; new employees received their first osteopathy follow-up during their first week.
Two Discovery sessions, renewed after positive team feedback.
Client
Eaton · industrial sector, office-based roles — the same site hosted both interventions.
How it started
Sabine Knobloch, Eaton’s designated worker for workplace safety, was already a patient of Antoine Depoux at his Yutz practice. Convinced by her own experience, she took the initiative to contact him so her colleagues could benefit from an on-site osteopathy session.
Timeline and delivery
The first intervention took place in February 2025. A follow-up in September gathered employee feedback, and a second session requested by Sabine Knobloch was delivered in November 2025.
Method
Discovery format: a half-day of individual 45-minute consultations on site, open to the whole team present — 5 to 7 people at each session.
2sessions in 2025
5–7people per session
Results
Almost the entire team took part in each session.
The designated worker directly requested the second session following positive feedback.
Named testimonial from Sabine Knobloch: her shoulder pain had almost disappeared.
A notable link emerged between workstation demands and activities outside work within this small group.
